Communication and Interaction Needs

This category covers speech, language and communication needs and often those with Autism.  The main support for students with needs in this area is in lesson.  To help address the Social Communication needs, we run Social Skills sessions and have support for students in Years 7 and 8 at break time to support peer interaction.  This is to work alongside in class work to ensure students leave us with a well-rounded education that encompasses the National Curriculum and wider social skills.
